From 1975 to 1985 I worked as Production Manager for the Manchester company "Adamson Containers" one of the Acrow group of companies

.In the factory at Macmerry in East Lothian Scotland, we produced metal containers used to transport supplies to the offshore oil rigs. Over the years this standard container was modified and altered to suit other industries, the M.O.D. was one such customer.
