Mike Folliard
It was with great shock and sadness that I heard of George's passing, particularly as this was after the funeral so I was unable to attend. George and I go back a long time as NUPE activists and we had many a pint together at various conferences and rallies throughout the 80's and 90's.
He had very strong views on many issues and we didn't always agree, but he was always sincere. I will miss him for the man he was and a great friend.
